Well done, Hamish!

The results are in for Hamish, the son of one of our leadership team, who recently raced in the Hattah Dessart Race. 

The race included 247 riders in four separate classes.

Prologue, which is a timed race over a 5 km track that sets your starting position in the race, did not go to plan, and Hamish started a little bit lower than he had hoped at position 181.

Over the next hour and 45 minutes, Hamish raced against the conditions and other riders and continued to make up places in the race. 

After 2 laps of the 22 km track, Hamish was in position 155 and continued to move through the field and finished in position 139.

A huge 42 places were made up during the race which I was really happy about. Hi also finished 25th in his class of 47 riders.
