Our own Hamish Crompton competed together with over 315 riders across two days at the first two rounds of the Australian Enduro Championship (AEC) at Kempsey over the weekend.

The competition draws competitors from across the country for the Pro Rider to riders as young as 9 years of age, all who are competing over 12 rounds across 6 different locations across Australia to be the Australian Enduro Champion.

The AEC round was held in conjunction with the NSW Off-road championship, which Hamish will be attending all round across northern NSW this year and will also compete in the combined AEC/ NSW Off Round championship in Kyogle in September and the big one, the Hattah Desert Race in Mildura, Victoria, in July.

The condition where external dust over the weekend, where on both days, 10-15 min spirit races against the clock, were completed. Hamish completed 7 tests on Saturday and further 5 tests on Sunday to see out the competition. He finished 51 out of 95 competitors on Saturday and 19th in class and had a better day on Sunday where he finished 45 out of 90 and 14th in the J4 class.

Good solid start to the 2025 race session, well done Hamish.
