From a young age, the intricacies of the water cycle have captivated my imagination. This fascination led me to embark on a journey in Water Engineering. I've been spellbound by the power of modeling software to replicate real-world scenarios, predict flood behavior, and vividly visualize it in colorful maps. Flood and stormwater management have become an integral part of my life, and I find contentment in knowing that, in my own way, I contribute to building flood-safe communities through sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions within my projects.
I am a proficient water engineer with a wealth of experience in water engineering-related projects. My expertise spans hydraulic and hydrological modeling and assessment, water quality management, flood studies, floodplain risk management studies, water-sensitive urban design, and stormwater drainage design.
With an extensive portfolio of successfully managed projects, I excel at client and stakeholder interactions. My proficiency extends to multiple hydrological, hydraulic, and civil design software packages, including XP-RAFTS, Drains, TUFLOW, MUSIC, XP-SWMM 1D/2D, SOBEK, waterRIDE, 12D, and GIS software packages such as MapInfo Professional and QGIS.
My skills also encompass the development of floodplain and floodplain risk management policies and appropriate development controls. I hold a Masters of Engineering (Water Engineering), Masters of Science (Hydrology & Meteorology), and is a proud member of the National Engineering Register (NER).
Watching ocean waves brings me a sense of relaxation and teaches me the importance of resilience and moving forward, no matter what challenges come our way. A quote that deeply resonates with me is:
"Your smile is your logo,
Your personality is your business card,
And the way you make others feel is your trademark."
