Growing up in a household where engineering was a constant topic of conversation, I developed a deep-seated passion for this field. Both of my parents dedicated their careers to engineering, and our dinner table discussions often revolved around engineering matters and problem-solving. The thrill of finding innovative solutions to complex challenges has always excited me. I take immense satisfaction in witnessing my vision for infrastructure become a reality, ensuring it fulfills its design intent in the field.

As a qualified and registered civil engineer, I bring significant expertise to the land development industry. My journey includes a foundational period of 12 years in local government, which provided me with invaluable insights into development approvals processes and statutory requirements for land development. I've earned a reputation as an expert in water cycle management.

My recognized strengths lie in seamlessly integrating flood management, water-sensitive urban design (WSUD), stormwater quality control, wastewater management, community needs, and the preservation of the natural environment. This integration demands a comprehensive assessment of water quantity and quality within a 'whole of catchment' context. I possess in-depth knowledge of the NSW Floodplain Risk Management process and the various state and federal government guidelines pertaining to stormwater management. With extensive experience in hydrological and hydraulic software packages like XP-Rafts, HEC RAS, Drains, CatchmentSIM, TUFLOW, and MUSIC, I bring a wealth of technical proficiency to the table.

I'm also proud to be one of J. Wyndham Prince's most experienced users of MapInfo GIS packages and specialize in 2D flood modeling.

In my role as a Project Leader, I take charge of driving and managing project outcomes. Additionally, I assume a group management role, offering technical advice, ensuring our projects in stormwater management and road design adhere to guidelines, and facilitating the use of the most efficient and effective modelling techniques. Over the years, I've served as an "Expert Witness" in several Land and Environment Council matters for our clients.

I bring 25 years of valuable industry experience to the table and hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), Diploma of Management and Graduate Certificate in Technical Management. I’m also a member of the Institute of Engineers Australia

When I'm not immersed in engineering challenges, I find solace in the great outdoors. There's nothing quite like unplugging from the world, camping on the river's edge, and simply watching the world go by. It's even more fulfilling when I see my kids swimming and relish the moments of quality family time together.
